Ingredients
  

  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 sausage links your choice of pork, turkey, or chicken sausage
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese blend
  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers optional
  • 1/4 cup diced onions optional
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • A pinch of garlic powder optional
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter for cooking

Instructions
 

  • Cook the sausage: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage links and cook for about 5-7 minutes, breaking them into smaller pieces as they brown. Once done, remove from the pan and set aside.
  • Whisk the eggs: In a bowl, whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt, pepper, and any additional seasonings you like (garlic powder, paprika, etc.).
  • Cook the eggs: In the same skillet, add a little oil or butter. Pour in the whisked eggs and cook over medium-low heat. Stir occasionally to scramble.
  • Add sausage and cheese: When the eggs are nearly done but still soft, return the sausage to the skillet. Sprinkle the cheese over the eggs and stir until it melts evenly.
