- 1 lb sausage pork, chicken, or turkey
- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
- 1 bell pepper chopped
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 cups chicken broth or vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sausage and cook until browned and crumbled, about 5-7 minutes.
